Streaks, XP and levels
Orivian rewards showing up a little every day more than cramming once a week. Here's how streaks, experience points (XP), levels and badges work.
Streaks, warm days and cold days
- A day is warm when you complete a lesson or a review session. Days follow your own time zone.
- Your streak is how many warm days you have in a row. Today counts as soon as you finish something; until then, yesterday's streak is still alive.
- A missed day is cold and frosts over on your calendar. On a cold run, the flame in the menu turns to frost and counts the cold days. One lesson or review warms you back up.

Streak milestones unlock badges, and your best one is shown next to your name on leaderboards:

Earning XP

| Each correct answer on mini-exams, checkpoints, practice exams and review sessions | 1 (your first 3 attempts at each in any 24 hours) |
| Passing a section checkpoint for the first time | 100 |
| Passing a practice exam for the first time | 150 |
| A friend you invited completes their first lesson | 100 for you and 100 for them (up to 25 friends) |
Retaking a lesson or review never takes XP away, and learning decay never touches it.
Levels and avatars
Your level comes from all-time XP, and each level takes a little more than the last (level 2 at 100 XP, level 5 at 1,000, level 10 at 4,500).

- 🧭 Explorer (levels 5–9)
- 🥾 Pathfinder (levels 10–14)
- 🗺️ Navigator (levels 15–19)
- ⛰️ Trailblazer (levels 20–29)
- 🏔️ Wayfinder (level 30+)
New levels unlock new avatars, and a few more unlock when friends join through your invite link. Choose yours on your profile.
Badges
Standout exam results earn accolades, and accolades add up to badges:

| Dead Reckoning | Ace 10 exams on the first try |
| Ridgeline | Score 100% on a section checkpoint |
| Second Wind | Pass an exam right after missing it |
| Summit | Pass a full-length practice exam |
| Above the Clouds | Score 90%+ on a full-length practice exam |
Leaderboards
The Progress page ranks the longest streaks and the most XP today and this week. Only your alias is ever shown, and you can leave the leaderboards entirely. See Privacy and your profile.
